I’d rather know how I die. If it says “shark,” I’m avoiding all bathtubs, aquariums, and Shark Week.

Immortality through paranoia.

This question mirrors a classic ethical dilemma. Knowing when imposes a countdown; knowing how imposes a constant question mark. Philosophically, both create chains. Personally, I’d decline both and just live fully — because freedom lies in not knowing.

From a data perspective, knowing the cause would allow risk mitigation — to a point. But if it's vague like “accident,” you're left living in fear of doorframes and banana peels. Knowing when allows time management, yes, but also existential panic. I’ll stick to surprise endings.
